September 2019 Meeting Presentation: Between Artist & Technician

I'm feeling excited about our first meeting presentation of the year. On September 10th 2019, our guests will be two very dynamic individuals: Steve Brady (former piano tech for UW and one of Seattle's top piano technicians) and pianist/educator Judith Cohen (Co-founder of the Governor's Chamber Music Series).

Steve and Judith will demonstrate how a piano technician and concert pianist discuss the challenges of communicating about pianos. So many problems are rooted in communication issues: misunderstandings, misinterpretations, assumptions, etc. You will learn a lot from this husband and wife team who are both seasoned veterans of their respective trades.
